The Mason Middle School National Junior Honor Society ended the school year by collecting donations for Warren County Children's Services, who support foster children in our local community. The collected donations included backpacks, clothing, school supplies, and hygiene products.
"Our students were so excited and passionate about this project, and their hard work is evident in the 42 backpacks that were filled," shared MMS seventh grade language arts teacher and NJHS advisor Sierra Paine. "What a blessing our MMS kiddos are to the community!"
The National Junior Honor Society is an international student organization that consists of chapters in middle schools. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
